How to do pi network phone verification?

 You can find the phone verification option by going to the home =>upper left main menu=>profile>phone verification

 

you find a button "Verify"

- tap it

- In the bottom of this window, tap the "Manual instructions" (Do not tap the Start button)

You get a 4 digital number: these 4 numbers are the message you will send.

- you may choose to use a USA number, or a UK number. Advised is choosing the nearest to your location

(example) - Copy the UK number (447723473314)

Then change a little, 00447723473314 

Just do like the following pic

(* If this doesn't work, use the USA number 16508220314, now here just example, the exact number will show in your phone page) 

 

When you finish sending message, back to pi page, click “I HAVE SENT THE TEXT” , when it shows Your Phone number is now successfully verified.

 

Congratulations, it is done.

 

FAQ:

There are two little skills to verify your PI account with phone .

1. Remove the second SIM cards while verification (if you have two SIM cards on your phone).or plz choose the SIM which you registered , not the other one phone number.

2. Use a new phone which was never have the pi installed to sent the SMS manually (you need to remove your SIM card from your previous phone and install to the second phone temporary).

3.Also, you can verify your PI account with the facebook, It is equivalence to the phone verification.(while, the best way is that you register pi using phone number and finish pi phone &FB verification, this action makes your pi more safe. )
